Fashion Friday: Pippa Middleton Shines At The Sugarplum Ball

While she's technically not real royalty, Pippa Middleton showed the world that you don't have to be married to a real life Prince to rock a gown like a Princess!

The Duchess of Cambridge's sister dazzled onlookers in a risqué, black intricately embroidered floor length gown this week at the Sugarplum Ball at One Mayfair in London. Topped off with a sparkly cropped jacket to keep warm and a simple black clutch, Pippa commanded all eyes in the room!

The look was completed with an elegant up-do, and drop gem earrings, as the 30-year old added her perfectly handsome 35-year old stockbroker boyfriend, Nico Jackson as the finishing touch.

The Middleton's are usually notorious for their conservative side in the fashion department, however Pippa's inhibitions flew out the window with this daring (and see-through) option!

One Direction Hunk Proposes to Girlfriend!

An engagement is definitely reason to SMILE!

Sorry ladies, it's official. This boy bander is OFF the market!

Mega group's One Direction rep just confirmed that Zayn Malik is officially engaged to his pop singer girlfriend, Perrie Edwards. "Zayn and Perrie are engaged, but any further detail regarding their relationship is private." the rep told MTV News. 

The couple met back in 2011 at a taping for British "X" Factor, where Perrie's girl group Little Mix won. Rumors began to circulate the internet yesterday about a possible engagement when the twenty year old hotties showed up on the red carpet for the London premiere of This Is Us, with Perrie sporting a 3-stone sparkler on her ring finger. The pair have been seeing each other since 2011, however didn't call themselves a couple until 2012. Perrie's mother, Debbie Duffy could not contain her excitement confirming the news gushing, ""It's true. They got engaged on Sunday and it was absolutely lovely and, you know, I feel . . . it's wonderful because Zayn's absolutely gorgeous and Perrie loves him to pieces and it's just perfect!" she gushed. "They just get on so well together and they understand each other so it's just fabulous!" Debbie also predicts that it might take the duo a little while to actually make it down the isle, blaming hectic schedules, and lots of wedding planning. 

Congrats to the happy couple, but we have a feeling there are going to be a lot of broken ('tween) hearts on this one!

A Prince Is Born!

Congratulations are in order, as the royal baby has arrived!  At approximately 4:24 PM (local time) on July 22, Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces. The Duchess gave birth naturally with Prince William by her side the entire time.

The news, which was made public on the royal easel outside of Buckingham Palace, had waiting onlookers and fans in tears and cheers of joy upon the announcement. The Palace has yet to release an official name of the little Prince, but he is stated to be the third in line for the throne now (bumping poor Prince Harry to a stale fourth place!)

Parents and baby are said to be doing very well, and should be leaving the hospital sometime this week. The proud and humble new parents released this official, joint statement today:

"We would like to thank the staff at the Lindo Wing and the whole hospital for the tremendous care the three of us have received. We know it has been a very busy period for the hospital and we would like to thank everyone - staff, patients and visitors - for their understanding during this time."

All eyes have been glued to St. Mary's hospital as fans hoped to catch the first glimpse of the new baby and parents. Quite the celebration had erupted merely moments after the news went public worldwide. New baby will be honored by a royal gunfire salute, and the fountains at Trafalgar Square were dyed blue, the BT Tower, a London landmark, flashed the words "It's a boy!", and of course, the #royalbaby is still trending on Twitter.

We can't wait to see the wee, baby Prince, who's said to be "absolutely beautiful" by Catherine's mother, Carole Middleton.
