Fashion Friday: Love it, or Leave It? Jessica Alba Edition

Actress and Mommy of two Jessica Alba rarely gets it wrong with her edgy, boho chic style, but we're not quite sure about this casual red carpet look she rocked at the Experience: East Meets West event in Beverly Hills last night.

The eco-conscious star wore a leather pencil skirt with an extra vibrant Kenzo sweat shirt tucked in, and a hunter green Valentino clutch. The bottom half of this outfit is very heavy with the long, black boots to accompany. While we dig the idea of the high waisted pencil skirt, and love the funness (is that a word?) of the sweater, however we don't love them together. The textures are mis-matched, and it comes across as a little "thrown together" for a red carpet look,

What do you think of Alba's casual red carpet style? Would you love it, or leave it?

Kim Kardashian Gets Vogue Cover (Finally!)

Looks like Kimye wins again!

After years of canvassing for his muse/fiancee/baby mama, Kim Kardashian, rapper Kanye West is finally getting his heart's desire to have Kim pose on the cover of Vogue. According to reports, the most famous Kardashian shot for the cover of the high fashion magazine in L.A., much to Kanye's desire.

Kardashian and Vogue editor have reportedly had a secret beef since Wintour supposedly did not extend an invite to Kim to the Met Gala party in 2013, even though fiancee West was welcome. Many reports have swirled stating that the famed Wintour would never allow the reality queen to pose for Vogue, however it looks like she is now changing her tune.

West has fervently been trying to gain respect in the high fashion world.

A formal announcement (or Tweet) has yet to be made that Kim will actually grace the cover, or when the issue will hit stands, but we're dying to know if the folks at Vogue are behind Kim recent and sudden switch back to her brunette locks..(see the photo below).

Blonde, brunette, Vogue or not, Kanye certainly does go hard for his woman!!

Kim has since tweeted that's she misses her blonde hair.

SodaStream's Provocative Super Bowl Commercial Banned by FOX

Good thing we can watch it online!

SodaStream just released their enticing Super Bowl commercial starring the blonde beauty, Scarlett Johansson, however unfortunately while the burgeoning brand probably shelled out a pretty penny on endorsement and media placement, the commercial won't hit the small screen this weekend.

While the commercial boasts sex appeal, the main reason for the boycott is due to the mention of Super Bowl sponsors Pepsi and Coke. Fox is not pleased with the reference, and decided to err on the side of caution and put a halt to SodaStream's ad.

SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum is enraged about the decision, speaking out to USA Today. "What are they afraid of?" Birnbaum questioned. "Which advertiser in America doesn't mention a competitor? This is the kind of stuff that happens in China. I'm disappointed as an American.

Looks like the decision is coming directly from Fox as Coca-Cola spokeswoman Lauren Thompson claims: "I can confirm we did not pressure Fox. Other than that, we don't comment on our competitors' efforts."

This is the second year that SodaStream's commercial has been rejected from the Super Bowl ad festivities.

Check out the commercial below. Do you think the Pepsi and Coca Cola reference is harsh enough to constitute the ban?

Fashion Fridays: Sandra Bullock's 2014 SAG Look!

The Screen Actor's Guild Awards aired last Sunday, and as usual, all the stars came out to play! Some stars glittered, while some were more than drab.

The Heat actress Sandra Bullock shook things up with her metallic green Lanvin gown. Sporting an oversized bow and high slit, the quirky brunette paired the very green dress with metallic Jimmy Choo strappy sandals, and a dainty, antique Fred Leighton snake coiled bracelet, with a hint of emerald. Bullock opted for a messy up-do, and pink cheeks to top off the look.

While some may say she worked the best dressed list for the night, others raise an eyebrow to the choice of the bold, metallic green (with the gaudy bow.) Was it too much, or just enough? Then again, it is Lanvin..and how can you shy away from anything Lanvin?!

We'll let you be the judge! Would you love it, or leave it?

Hot New Music Alert Shakira & Rihanna "Can't Remember to Forget You"

Shakira and Rihanna heat up the air waves with their new collaboration, "Can't Remember to Forget You" and we have to warn you, IT'S HOT! Both beauties fuse their Latin and Island roots to create this up-tempo beat, that leaves you moving and shaking. The song will be featured on Shakira's upcoming album that will be released in March of this year.

"The song is about that guy that just gets under your skin and you can't leave alone. I think every woman has been through that. This song is not exactly a reflection of my personal life right now," said Shakira of the track, who is currently finishing up her album in Barcelona.

These two powerhouses have been drumming up the anticipation within fans for quite some time now, dropping little social media hints here and there. If the song is this sexy, we can ONLY imagine how the video will sizzle!

Fashion Friday: People's Choice Awards Edition

In case you missed it, the People's Choice Awards aired this week, and the red carpet was jam packed with some stellar looks! While many shined, we particularly loved The Vampire Diaries' star Nina Dobrev's Jenny Packham dress.

The now turned 25 year old actress turned heads (including ex-beau's Ian Somerhalder) in the body con, midi length dress, that featured a splash of silver sequin detailing. Paired with a messy, pompadour up-do and open-toe sky high stilettos, the beauty finished off the outfit with a muted and understated black clutch.

From runway to real life, Dobrev got it right with this Packham dress!

The Canadian cutie scored even more points when she calmly and playfully accepted the award for favorite onscreen chemistry with ex-lover and fellow co-star, Iam Somerhalder.

"Then we broke up in real life," the Canadian actress explained. "And yet our characters are still dating on the show," Somerhalder chimed in. "It's a good thing it's not awkward," joked Dobrev.

Not awkward at all! What did you think of Dobrev's look? Sound off in the comments below!

Eva Longoria Named Maxim's 2014 Woman of the Year

.
Ex-Desperate Housewife actress, Eva Longoria was named Maxim's 2014 Woman of the Year, and my, how the brunette bombshell sizzles on the cover of the January/February issue of the magazine! Longoria, who has been twice married, including her very public marriage to NBA baller, Tony Parker, says that despite her sexy image, she's very down to earth, and loves to busy in the kitchen!

"One thing people are usually surprised about when they get to know me is how domestic I am. So when you see the sexy Maxim cover and then you put it against me in an apron with flour in my hair, it takes a moment to reconcile that image," the Latina mentioned in a recent interview.

The actress, turned producer, turned restaurant owner is currently dating Televisa honcho Jose "Pepe" Antonio Baston.

What do you think of Eva's smoldering Maxim cover?

This lady is an all-rounder!

Katy Perry & John Mayer Release "Who You Love" Video

Katy Perry and John Mayer are in love, and they want the world to know.

The two songbirds turned lover birds, stopped by Good Morning America  on Tuesday to premiere their new video for duet, "Who You Love".

"We set the casting call up for real couples. It's just so authentic – they were having a great time," Mayer, said of the video. "There's nothing scripted in that video except putting a bull in the middle of the desert."

The song has a easy rock vibe, with a video to match. The simplicity of the concept gives viewers no choice but to get lost in the lyrics and carried away in the dreamy and romantic visual Perry and Mayer create.
"Relationships are kind of like riding a bull – you hold on for dear life. Sometimes you get a little buck here and there, but you get back on," Perry added about the Sophie Muller directed flick.

Check out the lulling video below (but we must warn you, it will leave you swooning!)

Khloe Kardashian Files For Divorce From Lamar Odom

4 years of a roller coaster marriage, this reality couple are throwing in the towel.

After four years of marriage, reality star Khloe Kardashian made it clear to the world that she had had enough of Lamar Odom's embarrassing antics. Almost symbolically on Friday the 13th, the second youngest Kardashian officially filed for divorce.

The couple have been plagued with divorce rumors for several months after Odom's drug and cheating scandal was made public. The New York native has been battling a drug addiction for quite some time now, and the Kardashian clan had been working to keep it under wraps, until it became inevitably obvious. To add to the downward spiral, rumors and proof of cheating surfaced, accompanied by Odom's videos admitting to cheating during a recent drug binge.

While her every move is being magnified by the media, Khloe is showing the world that she's not going to let the situation get the best of her. She's already bouncing back! Last week, she was spotted with L.A Dodgers star, and Rihanna's ex, Matt Kemp, which have immediately ignited romance rumors.

We're not sure if it's a publicity ploy to deflect attention from the divorce drama, or new content for the next season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but one thing is for sure, there's never a dull moment with this bunch!

'Fast & Furious' Producers Mull Over Franchaise's Future

Fellow cast mates and family members have been grief stricken by the actor's sudden death

As the dust settles, and reality of the eerie death of 'Fast & Furious' star Paul Walker sets in, his fans can't help but wonder what will be the destiny of the franchise's current flick that was mid-production. Reports stated that Walker was scheduled to film key scenes for the film this week, and was more than half way finished, however plans have come to a screeching halt with the actor's untimely death.

Walker was a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, and loved fast cars

Producers have toyed with the idea of scrapping the nearly $200 million dollar budget film, and starting from scratch, as it would be difficult to get around the absence of the film's main character, O'Connor. This would cause the studio to also miss their July 2014 release date. Another idea was to use special effects to place Walker's face on another actor's body to complete unfinished scenes. That idea was nixed very quickly, however, for obvious reasons.

Which ever route the studio and producers decide to take, they can be thankful that they are insured for any unforeseen losses and most likely will not have to take a financial hit for re-mapping out scenes, or starting over.

The film's last installment made over $800 million dollars worldwide. Walker was only 40 when he met his death in a fiery high performance car crash this past Saturday with longtime friend, and business partner, Roger Rodas. Officials have recently ruled out drag racing as a factor in the crash.

Hundreds of fans have flocked to the site of where the actor met his death, in vigil

Talk about a super-sized family!

The family now have four children, all under the age of two, not to mention the two girls that Kim has from a previous relationship, bringing her to six kids in total.

Fashion Friday: Pippa Middleton Shines At The Sugarplum Ball

While she's technically not real royalty, Pippa Middleton showed the world that you don't have to be married to a real life Prince to rock a gown like a Princess!

The Duchess of Cambridge's sister dazzled onlookers in a risqué, black intricately embroidered floor length gown this week at the Sugarplum Ball at One Mayfair in London. Topped off with a sparkly cropped jacket to keep warm and a simple black clutch, Pippa commanded all eyes in the room!

The look was completed with an elegant up-do, and drop gem earrings, as the 30-year old added her perfectly handsome 35-year old stockbroker boyfriend, Nico Jackson as the finishing touch.

The Middleton's are usually notorious for their conservative side in the fashion department, however Pippa's inhibitions flew out the window with this daring (and see-through) option!

What do you think of Pippa's unusually daring fashion choice?

Adam Levine Named People Magazine's 'The Sexiest Man Alive'

He's so hot, he sizzles!

Lead singer of a hot rock band, coach of hit show The Voice, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine is not short of worthy titles, but recently he's been slapped with a new one, and it's not too shabby! People Magazine has named the crooner as their coveted 'Sexiest Man Alive' in the current double issue.

Described as "cool, confident, and seductive" on the cover, the singer never thought this title would be up for grabs stating, "As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table. I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."

The Los Angeles native says he keeps his body in tip-top shape by doing yoga, and spinning, and enjoys just being naked. While he sounds like the smooth and charming knight from every woman's day dreams (he admits he even cries at movies), he's sadly off the market. Gushing about his soon-to-be bride, Victoria Secret model Behati Prinsloo, he says, "I didn't think marriage was for me for a long time. I was ready when I was ready. That's about as simple as it could possibly be." The rock and roller says he can't wait to settle down with her.

Sigh. Can we also nominate him for 'Sweetest Man Alive' too? Watch him turn up the sex appeal in this #ThrowbackThursday video below:

More Hot Water for Real Housewives of NJ Stars Teresa & Joe Giudice

Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse for the Real Housewives of New Jersey's house wife Teresa Giudice..

The reality star and her husband were indicted on two more counts of fraud, one count of bank fraud, and one count of loan application fraud. According to authorities  the federal grand jury has slapped Teresa with new charges stemming from a mortgage loan amounting in over $350K acquired in July 2005.

The new allegations top off the laundry list of charges that the couple faces, which could result in a whopping 50 years of slammer time for the duo.

Teresa maintains her and her husband's innocence to all charges. "As she did with respect to the allegations contained in the original indictment, Teresa intends to plead ‘not guilty' to the allegations in the new indictment," her lawyer Henry Klingeman said in an official statement.

Looks like Teresa has MUCH bigger fish to fry than some catty housewives..Teresa and Joe have four young daughters, and for their sake, we hope they figure out their issues sooner than later!
