Ex-Desperate Housewife actress, Eva Longoria was named Maxim's 2014 Woman of the Year, and my, how the brunette bombshell sizzles on the cover of the January/February issue of the magazine! Longoria, who has been twice married, including her very public marriage to NBA baller, Tony Parker, says that despite her sexy image, she's very down to earth, and loves to busy in the kitchen!

"One thing people are usually surprised about when they get to know me is how domestic I am. So when you see the sexy Maxim cover and then you put it against me in an apron with flour in my hair, it takes a moment to reconcile that image," the Latina mentioned in a recent interview.

 

The actress, turned producer, turned restaurant owner is currently dating Televisa honcho Jose "Pepe" Antonio Baston.

Kris Humphries Auctions Off Kim Kardashian's Gigantic Sparkler!

Going once...going twice...

Mr. Ex Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries is auctioning off the reality star's enormous engagement ring to the highest bidder! After just 72 days of marriage, the new mom Kim K announced that she was splitting from NBA player.

The Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring boasts a 16.21 carat emerald cut center stone, and two 1.80-carat trapezoid stones on the side. Kris reportedly paid a cool $2 million back in 2011 for the ring, however it is reported that it most likely will only fetch a mere $300-$500K.

Looks like now our questions are finally laid to rest about who got the ring in the bitter divorce battle. Apparently, Kim, who is now the mother of Kanye West's child, secretly gave the ring back over a year ago. The ring is set to be auctioned off on October 15th at Christie's in Manhattan.

Christie's has declined to name the seller as Humphries, and has listed the seller as a "gentlemen." We can't help but feel a little bad for Kris...not only did his heart get broken, but so will his pockets with the resale value of the ring.

The potential silver lining to this ordeal, is that a portion of the proceeds from the auction are have said to be going to charity..at least one good thing will come from the whirlwind marriage!

Jay-Z Teams Up with Samsung for New Album Release #MagnaCarta

 

Watch out Apple, Samsung is making big moves!

Samsung and entertainer/entrepreneur Jay-Z have joined forces in the release of Jay's new album Magna Carta Holy Grail. Jay-Z built anticipation in fans by airing a commercial during Game 5 of the NBA Playoffs showing off his collaboration with Samsung (see video below). The 3-minute commercial exposed fans to a brainstorming session with musical masterminds Pharrell, Rick Rubin, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz.

Last week, Hov added to the excitement releasing the track list of his newest album, sending the viral world into a tizzy (listed below) . The album will be available for FREE for the first 1 Million Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4 and Galaxy Note II users. The specially designed app will be made available for fans today. Rumor has it that Samsung paid $5 a piece for the million copies distributed to users.

 As a Samsung user, you will have the privilege of getting the album 3 whole days before the rest of the world, leaving non-Samsung/Jay-Z fans in the agony of waiting 72 hours (or of course, hope for a leak from a generous Galaxy user). Not sure about you, but as an iPhone user, kinda makes me want to run out and make a switch...

Samsung, mission accomplished.
