Shakira and Rihanna heat up the air waves with their new collaboration, "Can't Remember to Forget You" and we have to warn you, IT'S HOT! Both beauties fuse their Latin and Island roots to create this up-tempo beat, that leaves you moving and shaking. The song will be featured on Shakira's upcoming album that will be released in March of this year. 

 



"The song is about that guy that just gets under your skin and you can't leave alone. I think every woman has been through that. This song is not exactly a reflection of my personal life right now," said Shakira of the track, who is currently finishing up her album in Barcelona.

These two powerhouses have been drumming up the anticipation within fans for quite some time now, dropping little social media hints here and there. If the song is this sexy, we can ONLY imagine how the video will sizzle!

Katy Perry & John Mayer Release "Who You Love" Video

Katy Perry and John Mayer are in love, and they want the world to know.

The two songbirds turned lover birds, stopped by Good Morning America  on Tuesday to premiere their new video for duet, "Who You Love". 

"We set the casting call up for real couples. It's just so authentic – they were having a great time," Mayer, said of the video. "There's nothing scripted in that video except putting a bull in the middle of the desert."

The song has a easy rock vibe, with a video to match. The simplicity of the concept gives viewers no choice but to get lost in the lyrics and carried away in the dreamy and romantic visual Perry and Mayer create.   
"Relationships are kind of like riding a bull – you hold on for dear life. Sometimes you get a little buck here and there, but you get back on," Perry added about the Sophie Muller directed flick.

Adam Levine Named People Magazine's 'The Sexiest Man Alive'

He's so hot, he sizzles!

Lead singer of a hot rock band, coach of hit show The Voice, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine is not short of worthy titles, but recently he's been slapped with a new one, and it's not too shabby! People Magazine has named the crooner as their coveted 'Sexiest Man Alive' in the current double issue.

Described as "cool, confident, and seductive" on the cover, the singer never thought this title would be up for grabs stating, "As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table. I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."

The Los Angeles native says he keeps his body in tip-top shape by doing yoga, and spinning, and enjoys just being naked. While he sounds like the smooth and charming knight from every woman's day dreams (he admits he even cries at movies), he's sadly off the market. Gushing about his soon-to-be bride, Victoria Secret model Behati Prinsloo, he says, "I didn't think marriage was for me for a long time. I was ready when I was ready. That's about as simple as it could possibly be." The rock and roller says he can't wait to settle down with her.

Today, pop icon Mariah Carey released her new single called "The Art of Letting Go" via Facebook to her 14 million fans. The single, which was produced by Rodney Jerkins, serves as the title track from her upcoming album.

“This is such a personal record to me,” the diva gushes about the song.  “I wrote the lyrics so that anyone and everyone could relate to them and hopefully release anything that they need to let go of that’s holding them back or bringing them down. Thank you for sharing this experience with me!”

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Are Engaged!

The happy couple moments after West popped the question on Kardashian's 33rd birthday last night.

It's official..Kim & Kanye are officially engaged!

Rapper Kanye West decided it was time to put a ring on it! The 36-year old entertainer proposed to reality star Kim Kardashian on her 33rd birthday at the AT&T Stadium in San Francisco last night. The usually private Kanye, pulled out all of the stops in front the entire Kardashian clan and close friends. Kanye hired a 50-piece orchestra who played  Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful" and Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and West's 'Knock You Down," (which West reportedly penned his verse of the song for Kardashian.) With the orchestra setting the mood, Kanye splashed the jumbotron at the stadium with "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!"

West pulled out all the stops for his lady love.

And of course, the proposal wouldn't be complete without a diamond to seal the deal. West presented Kim with a 15-carat diamond ring made by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.
Shortly after, the Kardashians flocked to Twitter to spread the happy news! Little sister Khloe tweeted, "Wow!!!!! Am I dreaming??!?!" and going on to say, "Tears of JOY!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!"

The pair have welcomed their first daughter, North (Nori) West into the world on June 15th, just days after Kim's divorce to NBA player Kris Humphries was finalized.

Baby North (Nori) West made her debut on June 15th.

This will be the first marriage for Kanye, and the third for Kim. Congratulations to the happy couple!!

Music Mondays: Taylor Swift- 'Sweeter Than Fiction'

 

Off of the "One Chance" soundtrack, red-lipped songstress Taylor Swift releases her cute new single, "Sweeter Than Fiction" to iTunes today. Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff lent his song writing skills to the track after being inspired by the story of "Britain's Got Talent" winner, Paul Potts.

 

The '80s inspired track will be featured over the end credits of the new film directed by David Frankel.

Katy Perry is the New Face for CoverGirl's Spring 2014 Campaign

Yesterday chart topping vocalist Katy Perry roared to the world that she was the new face of CoverGirl Cosmetics via Twitter.

"BEAUTIFUL news to share w/you all. Today is my 1st day as a @COVERGIRL! See what happens when you let the light in? #COVERGIRLKATY," the singer tweeted.

The news comes just in time for Katy's third album titled Prism releasing on October 22. "Roar", the first single from the new album, skyrocketed to the No. 1 spot making it Perry's 10th Top 40 track.

"In addition to music, I've always considered makeup to be a powerful creative avenue of self-expression. I'm honored to partner with COVERGIRL and share more colors and textures of my approach to beauty to inspire my audience." Katy said in a statement.

The dark haired, light-eyed beauty will be participating in a 2014 spring campaign that will represent "bold new beauty looks", which is perfect for the singer who is no stranger to taking chances when it comes to her look, and wardrobe.

Esi Eggleston Bracey, VP and general manager of CoverGirl sang Katy's praises in a statement saying, "Never afraid to express emotion, strength, vulnerability or independence, Katy is the embodiment of a true COVERGIRL — someone we root for, identify with, and get inspiration from."

Kanye West & Jimmy Kimmel Squash Their Beef!



Kanye West & Jimmy Kimmel settled their differences last night, on Jimmy Kimmel Live

How could we forget the intense feud that ensured between late night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel and rapper Kanye West last month, after Kimmel spoofed the "passionate" interview West gave to BBC. The parody sent West into a Twitter tizzy, tweeting a series of irate tweets attacking Kimmel, igniting a social media beef far greater than any rap battle to date! However, last night it seems the dueling duo came to amends as West, now popularly known as Kim Kardashian's baby daddy, appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

As viewers held their breath, not knowing what could erupt, the conversation was not combative in the slightest, and the men settled their differences. Kanye, of course, explained his notions that he is a "creative genius" and they gave the public the real scoop on what caused the feud. The two had nurtured a "real" friendship (as real as it can get), and Kanye felt betrayed by the spoof.

The highlight (and laugh worthy) part of the interview was when Kimmel gifted Kanye with leather shorts, which was the subject of the original skit. Again, this triggered Kanye to engage in one of his infamous rants about fashion, being a celebrity, his family AND...pretty much everything else under the sun!

The pair ended on a good note though, as West confessed that he really hadn't watched the entire sketch, and Kimmel admitting, that it really wasn't that funny! Aww! Now they can go back to being "friends", and we can allllll go back to our humdrum Twitter feeds.

Miley Cyrus Opens Up About Drug Use In Rolling Stone Interview

From twerking her heart at the MTV Music Awards last month, to shocking barely-there outfits, it could be said that Miley Cyrus is on a path to destruction. This month Cyrus covers the Rolling Stone magazine, and opens up about all of that, including her indulgence in drugs.

Miley states marijuana "is the best drug on earth. And Molly, too. Those are happy drugs-social drugs. They make you want to be with friends. You're out in the open. You're not in a bathroom," states the pop star in the recently released outtakes for the magazine. 

While the once innocent Disney star loves to partake in weed smoking and Molly poppin'  she makes a strong proclamation on cocaine, "I really don't like coke. It's so gross and so dark. It's like what are you, from the '90s? Ew."

Cyrus goes on to talk about experimenting with various hallucinogens, and making drug cocktails revealing,"One time I smoked a joint with peyote in it, and I saw a wolf howling at the moon."

We're not surprised about these new revelations from the controversial star. One can't help but wonder if all of this erratic behavior is attributed to her drug use, or is merely a cry for public attention. Either way, sounds like Miley needs to pump her brakes, and go back to the wholesome Hannah Montana that we know and love!

Toronto native, Drake, gives fans another listen off of new album on Fallon this weekend

Drake, once again, shares his softer side with fans debuting his new song "Too Much" from upcoming album, Never Was The Same on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Friday night. The intimate performance featured vocals from OVO singer Sampha, and piano heavy vibes. The lyrics give listeners a glimpse of Drake's feelings on new relationships, Mommy & Daddy issues, and some of his struggles with fame. The Canadian rapper, who is notorious for sharing his sensitive side with fans will release his album on September 24th to the masses. Check out the performance below:

Although NWTS is not set to be released for another week, today the blogs were sent into a tailspin as the highly anticipated album seems to have sprung a leak. Fans were given an early treat to another track from the new album, but this time featuring heavy hitter Jay-Z. Listen to "Poundcake" below. Today marks the 55th birthday of Madonna Louise Ciccone. Who is that you ask? The reigning Queen of Pop, Madonna. Taking over both the music and acting scene, this femme fatale has made her stamp on the entertainment industry.

We have to admit that the singer is looking mighty fine for 55 years old, being a mother of four, and having a career that spans over three decades (and still going strong!) She has sold over 300 million plus records marking her as the top-selling female recording artist of all time. Keeping her music and acting career in high gear, we have to say that's quite commendable, (not to mention keeping up with her newest love interest, who is merely HALF the sexy star's age!)

Known best for her controversial visuals, fashion, comments, relationships and the list goes on and on, this girl is (and has been) on fire!

Lady Gaga Releases New Single "Applause" Early

Little monsters, get ready! It's the moment you've all been waiting for! 

Yesterday, Mother Monster was forced to release her newest single "Applause" from upcoming album ARTPOP (Interscope, due out November 11) one week early. The early release came to fans in light of the song being leaked, and Gaga declaring a "pop music emergency" to her faithful fans. Within 15 minutes of the release, the single was rocking radio airwaves.

Gaga is pushing the envelope with her new single and album, merging together the idea of art-school concepts and her music. Merging her two purposes, Gaga talks about how she strives and survives on the love of her Little Monsters in this song.

Beyonce Takes a "Short" Cut!

Don't be surprised if we see an influx of short 'dos, because Queen Bey is certainly setting a trend with this one! Yesterday, mega entertainer Beyonce took to her Instagram account to debut her brand new short 'do to the world. The short cut is bound to make life easier, and cut glam time in half, which will give the new Mom much more family time with baby Blue and hubby. Currently on hiatus from her Mrs. Carter Tour, resuming this fall, Jay-Z's wifey picked the perfect time to chop off her usually long and lustrous locks. 

The new look comes shortly after Bey's on stage fan incident where her goldie locks got caught in an effect fan while performing. For anyone else, this might have been a mortifying moment, but like a true performer, the songstress knew that the show must go on, but it was clear that she was stuck! Check out the video below:

Singer Usher Raymond Son in ICU After Near Drowning Accident

R&B singer Usher Raymond received a phone call on Monday, that is every parent's worst nightmare. His five year old son, Usher Raymond V was playing in a residential pool, when he went to get a toy from the pool's drain and his arm reportedly got stuck. His Aunt, who was watching the tot at the time, frantically tried to free him but was unsuccessfully. Two audio-visual contractors who were doing work at the house quickly came to help after hearing screams for help, and were able to free him, and administered CPR. While Usher Raymond V was breathing and responsive after CPR, shortly after he was rushed to the hospital and immediately put in ICU. Doctors are reporting that thankfully, the little one will be ok, and is recovering well.

On Tuesday, Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster hurriedly requested an emergency custody hearing requesting temporary sole custody of the couple's two small children. Tameka claims that Usher is not around, and is busy traveling for most of the time and is usually not offering the primary care and attention that the kids need. She also claims that those Usher has recruited to care for the children (which consists of close friends and family) lack due diligence. An official hearing date has not been set yet.

The couple have been in an ongoing battle for custody of the kids, and it's reported that this is not the first time that Tameka has raised concern about the children being in Usher's Aunt's care. This incident might just be the last straw in the case.

We're extremely happy to hear that the baby is doing well, and will be alright, however it looks like Usher's troubles are about to take a turn for the worst with this sticky custody battle.

Music Mondays: Mumford & Sons Release New Video For "Hopeless Wanderer"

Yesterday, folk rockers Mumford & Sons released their brand spanking new video for single, "Hopeless Wanderer". Hot on the heels of their Lollapalooza performance this weekend in Chicago, the video comes to listeners from their 2012 album release Babel.

Instead of featuring the usually mugs of the band members, the group turned to 'SNL' and 'Arrested Development' cast Jason Bateman, Will Forte, Ed Helms and Jason Sudeikis to star in the video. The guys offer a comic relief offering up a heck of a lip-synching and banjo playing talents!

Justin Bieber is CLEAR of Hit & Run Charges



The Biebs can flash a huge smile, as he's in the clear of legal woes..for now at least!

Last month, teen heartthrob Justin Bieber was involved in a hit and run accident when he allegedly hit a photographer and took off in his all white Ferrari. Yesterday a Los Angeles District Attorney rejected the case, and cleared him of all charges due to insufficient evidence that Bieber knowingly fled the scene of the crime.

Reports claim that when leaving the Laugh Factory back in June, Bieber unknowingly pinned a photographer who was trying to take his photo between his car, and another parked car. The photographer was taken to the hospital at the scene, but by the time the ambulance and police arrived, the singer was no where to be found.

Though, the teen has cleared his name in this specific incident, he is still under investigation for reckless driving (who gave this guy a license?!) In addition to that, he was investigated for battery when an altercation with a neighbor ensued near to his Calabasas, CA home.

Yikes! This is pretty heavy for a young man of only 19 years. We hope the Biebs isn't on the same destructive path that we've seen lots of teen stars go down. Maybe having Selena Gomez back in his life will help him to clean up the not-so-square image he is creating!

Simon Cowell In Some Serious Baby Mama Drama!

Bet Simon's so-called friend won't be smiling at this announcement!

Music mastermind Simon Cowell, 53 and girlfriend, NYC Socialite Lauren Silverman, 36, are expecting a baby, according to sources.

The notoriously hard-nosed 'American Idol' judge has candidly spoken on parenthood in the past claiming that he was not fit for diaper duty, nor did he have any interest in doing so. In 2009 he advised, "God, no. I couldn't have children. If I had them here drawing on the walls I'd go nuts.You've got to be up at a certain time. Got to listen. When all you want to do is sit in a corner thinking."

However in recent years, he's been singing a different tune (no pun intended), expressing his love for children, but stating that his schedule and age could make that desire impossible. Guess he has no choice now!

Apart of from Simon's disinterest producing offspring, there's another twist to his story- Simon's baby mama is actually still married...to his close friend, and real estate mogul Andrew Silverman...we even needed a moment to digest that one! Well, in actuality, the Silvermans are estranged, and are in the process of divorcing, but the fact remains that the pair is still hitched.

While the news is still yet to be confirmed from Simon's folks, multiple sources have confirmed that Lauren is about 10 weeks along.

We knew Simon was quite the playboy, but we didn't know that he had enough charm to take someone's wife! Not to mention, his friend's wife..

Someone call Maury because this one is definitely messy!

K-Pop lovers are smiling for this one!

After a year long hiatus, K-Pop sensations,  2NE1 deliver hot, new reggae inspired single "Falling in Love" to their devoted fans.
