Music Mondays: Mariah Carey Releases New Single, "The Art of Letting Go"

Today, pop icon Mariah Carey released her new single called "The Art of Letting Go" via Facebook to her 14 million fans. The single, which was produced by Rodney Jerkins, serves as the title track from her upcoming album.

“This is such a personal record to me,” the diva gushes about the song.  “I wrote the lyrics so that anyone and everyone could relate to them and hopefully release anything that they need to let go of that’s holding them back or bringing them down. Thank you for sharing this experience with me!”

Despite a recent shoulder injury, Carey has been busy in the studio cooking up new music for her fourteenth studio album. Fans can look forward to collaborations with Nas, Wale and Jermaine Dupri.

David Beckham Bares It All In New Fragrance Ad

Soccer star, and hunky hubby to former Spice Girl and designer, Victoria Beckham strips down in his latest ad campaign for his new fragrance "Classic"...well sorta..While he does show off his picture-perfect abs, of course, he tastefully leaves the rest up to your imagination. The steamy clip features a shirtless Beckham getting dressed, making the ladies swoon, and leaving the fellas with one heck of a benchmark.

“My new fragrance, Classic, is an expression of my style… modern, elegant, masculine… I love it. And hope everyone will love it as much as I do,” explained the 38 year old of the scent.

The tagline for the cologne reads "Revive Your Classics", which Beckham stated means, "As much as I like to keep my style classic, it’s got to have a modern twist to it as well. “Revive your classics” is about combining these two looks."

Beckham shared the new ad campaign with the world via his Facebook and Youtube pages writing, “Here is my new COTY campaign, we had fun shooting it! Hope you all like it.”

The father of four recently announced that he will officially be retiring from pro-soccer, and has since relocated his family back to the UK.

Michelle Obama Joins Instagram!

Say Cheese! The First Lady is All Smiles for her Camera Phone.

If you're not hip to the Facebook owned, photo sharing platform Instagram, you better get with the program quick! The First Lady, Michelle Obama has officially beat you to the punch.

Today, Michelle Obama was all smiles in her first photo post from an account created with the handle @michelleobama, on the rapidly growing social media outlet. The newly created account skyrocketed to over 17k worth of followers, while she is only following one- @whitehouse.

The first photo (with filter and all!) posted by the First Lady captures a moment during her current trip to Africa with the caption, and hashtag: ""My first instagram! So inspired and so impressed by these extraordinary young women. -mo #FLOTUSinAfrica"

Mrs. Obama seems to be getting the hang of things, utilizing the new video option made available to Instagram users recently, posting a video of students performing a welcoming dance.

Our guess is that Mrs. O won't be using the account to post duck-lip inspired selfies...but just for fun, we hope she does!
